So I’ve teamed up with Lucy of 2 Gen Beauty to bring you 7 weeks of our top cruelty free picks. We’re sharing everything head to toe that makes daily blogger + beauty life a little easier. Here’s a run down of what’s to come:
Week 2 – facial beauty products
Week 3 – eye makeup products
Week 4 – lip products
Week 5 – nail products
Week 6 – hair care products
Week 7 – body care products
Looks like a lot but it’s a rarity that I go a day without using a moisturizer, mascara or washing my hair so it’s all very necessary! Just this morning I reached for cleanser, glycolic facial pads, rose hip seed oil + eye cream. The elements can be super harsh on skin! So on with my top 3 skin care picks…
Pacifica Coco Pure Makeup Removing Wipes – Ahhhmazzzing wipes. I’m a wipes kind of girl. Sometimes I use a little oil to remove eye makeup but only when I really have time to remember to. I primarily use these to take off mascara, eye liner + lip products that stain. They really hold their own on moisture + don’t irritate my skin. I’ve been using them for about two months. And a little tip…one wipe can do your entire face. I know because I’ve done it.
Alba Botanica Good + Clean Daily Detox Foaming Cleanser – This cleanser is pretty awesome because it’s missing what lots of other cleansers are not, sulfates. And I am so iffy with cleansers in general because they can strip more from your skin then necessary. So I only use this once a day, at night, after I’ve removed my eye makeup. I don’t wash my face with a cleanser in the morning because I don’t find it necessary. I do a cleansing mask that really just helps with any junk in my pores.
Pacifica Rose Gold Brightening Primer Serum – A good primer is hard to find! Most primers I come across have a pasty formula that just doesn’t blend well with my skin tone. This works surprisingly well considering it is a serum. It reminds of a primer from Reviva Labs that I loved using. It’s always a back up in case something new isn’t working out for me but this is now also added to the list. Love it! Plus it’s vegan…always a plus.
I could only choose 3 but here are some brands that I also use more often than not.
